Chris & Dawn Landes began as pastors at Habecker in September 2016.  They formerly lived and worked for seven years in Cambodia, Southeast Asia, and so have enjoyed the intercultural aspects of the Habecker congregation.  Chris and Dawn have three children, Malise, Nathan and Rachel.  Chris also works as Director as Administrative Services at Mennonite Central Committee.

The Landes’ feel privileged to serve along side strong lay leadership at Habecker to minister to the needs of a diverse and generous congregation.  They love welcoming new people into the church!  Feel free to contact Chris or Dawn at cdlandes[at]habeckerchurch.com.

Cemetery Burial Eligibility

Burial in the Habecker Church Cemetery is available under the following guidelines. Individuals must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be a member of Habecker Mennonite Church or Mountville Mennonite Church
• Be a member of the broader Karen community
• Have immediate family members already buried in the Habecker Church Cemetery
